??? as Maya Natsume from Tenjho Tenge
I’ve never watched Tenjho Tenge. Nor do I have any idea what the name is of the cosplayer featured above. All I know is that it wins.

??? as Maya Natsume from Tenjho Tenge

Omi Gibson as Lammy from Um Jammer Lammy
Omi Gibson once again graces this column, this time as the titular character from the PlayStation classic, Um Jammer Lammy. Unfortunately, I don’t know much about the character, as I suck so utterly at rhythm games. ;__;
Enjoy some group shots below; putting Josie and the Pussycats to shame.

Alodia Gosiengfiao as The Baroness
Alodia Gosiengfiao is a popular cosplay model from the Philippines, often referred as the “Cosplay Queen”. Her take on The Baroness emits a deceptively sweet visage of the character, who is otherwise a cold, assassin-trained lieutenant in the ranks of Cobra. This serves to remind us: The sweeter the tongue, the sharper the tooth.
Alodia regularly attends conventions and has a passion for dolls and figures.

Make no mistake; this is not at all to take away from Omi Gibson‘s take on GI Joe’s Russian raven. The more brunettes with glasses in black leather cat suits in my world, the better!

Ushijima as Nagato Yuki (SOS Galactic Patrol)
Oh, sweetie… You’re beautiful and look spot-on for Nagato Yuki’s SOS Galactic Patrol outfit from the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya PS2 game, but please let me treat you to a sandwich.
As you can see in the comparison below, Ushijima has a tight little body on her, matching the youthful physique of Nagato. I can only hope she’s just built that way and not unhealthy. The outfit is kinda hot as space-age lingerie, though the Nagato character is way too young for it to have the same appeal on her.

Angel of Fyre IS Molotov Cocktease
San Diego Comic Con 2009 had its share of cosplay superstars. One of which was an artist who goes by the name “Angel of Fyre“, granting perfect realization to Molotov Cocktease, from The Venture Bros.
I thought it was very clever to use transparent strips to keep the upper half adhered to her body and prevents her boobs from exploding out into the open air.

Pimping it up with Seth Green!

Tasha, Ren, Saya, and Marina as the Vocaloid Nurses
Vocaloid is a voice synthesizing software that’s hit it big in Japan, with great thanks to its series of mascots. Naturally, they’re subject to a great amount of cosplay. Here we have four lovely ladies assuming the roles of Miku, Meiko, Rin, and Luka in sexy candy-colored nurse uniforms.
For some reason, I have a sudden craving for Fanta. Grape Fanta…

Omi Gibson as L from Death Note
I’ve never seen the anime series, Death Note, but I’ve seen plenty of cosplay for it. At first glance, Omi Gibson would have me totally fooled. It’s only when she leans back that her womanly chest ruins the illusion. I guess you could call it a win-win situation?
The group shot below shows the complete costume, complete with bare feet.

Omi Gibson as Luke Skywalker
The “Omi Gibson In Drag Halloween” series continues! This week, Omi gets her Force on as young Luke Skywalker from Star Wars: Episode IV.
Dunno who the fella is playing Han Solo, but he appears to have burned off his eyebrows. Maybe Greedo did fire first.

Omi Gibson as Bryan Fury
Now, when I said that October would be dedicated to crossplay, what I meant to say that it was devoted to Omi Gibson in crossplay. It’s just hard to find a month’s worth of really good crossplay. And as far as I’m concerned, Omi is always best.
This week, it’s Omi Gibson as Bryan Fury from the Tekken video game series. This is his primary outfit from Tekken 5. And s/he looks maaaaad.

Omi Gibson as...Snake Pliskin?
Few things get me more sexually aroused AND confused as girls dressed in “crossplay”. Omi Gibson serves up a perfect example, as I never thought I’d find myself attracted to Snake Pliskin from Escape from New York. Even if Omi bore a thick 5 o’clock shadow for this costume, it might not make a difference to me.
It is the beginning of October, which means Halloween is approaching fast! In the spirit of the holiday, I’m dedicating this week to the best samples of crossplay I can find. “Crossplay”, of course, being a cosplayer assuming the role of a character, but a version of the character that is the opposite gender. Could be scary, could be sexy… But enjoy this first taste!
