Phantasm is a fun cult series of horror movies that might be about an extra-dimensional Amish dude. He’s a snappily-dressed, hard-working man freeing up valuable real estate by turning our buried dead into enslaved jawas for his homeworld. Then two meddling kids and a sex-crazed ice cream man come along and get all up in his Kool-Aid. He is also made of banana custard…evil banana custard.

I’ve never seen the anime series, Death Note, but I’ve seen plenty of cosplay for it. At first glance, Omi Gibson would have me totally fooled. It’s only when she leans back that her womanly chest ruins the illusion. I guess you could call it a win-win situation?

Just a little update for both of my readers… For the next couple weeks, the blog is taking a bit of a break. October is always a busy month for me personally, what with my birthday, anniversary, Halloween, and such. I also have a lot on my plate professionally; trying to get seasonal work and I’m currently accepting review assignments from GotGame.com. My desktop PC also just fried, so that kinda sucks too.
The podcast and cosplay of the week will run on schedule, so there’s still plenty of new content on its way to the site.

Now, when I said that October would be dedicated to crossplay, what I meant to say that it was devoted to Omi Gibson in crossplay. It’s just hard to find a month’s worth of really good crossplay. And as far as I’m concerned, Omi is always best.
This week, it’s Omi Gibson as Bryan Fury from the Tekken video game series. This is his primary outfit from Tekken 5. And s/he looks maaaaad.
